Named beneficiaries usually supersede instructions in wills and trusts which is why it is important to keep your beneficiary designation information up to date. By reviewing your beneficiaries regularly you can be assured that your assets will be distributed according to your wishes. You can direct a portion or all of an account to go to charity. All you need to do is indicate MB Foundation as the primary beneficiary and fill out a Donor Advised Memorandum directing us where to distribute it and what amount to send to your favorite charity.
